I got a couple of calls from different recruitment agencies. Yeeea! I would love to have a job in a country that allows me to feel at home. I've been praying to God for this job to come my way. Break a leg, Jha! :o)

I have been invited to attend several joyous occasions. Hmmm... Rarampa na naman para mabusog! nyahaha
 
I enjoyed watching another Korean drama about the story of a girl who did her best to overcome all obstacles just to achieve her goals in life. I so love "Cinderella's Stepsister"!!! Still not finished though... :o)

Reliving the Old Habit ♥

Early morning at around 8am, I woke up and saw my brother in front of our desktop computer. Naunahan ako ah! :o)

I just did my daily routine...

I had a healthy breakfast with coffee. After eating breakfast, I pick up the newspaper and read the news. When I read a newspaper, I look through every page then stay longer on two of my favorite pages~ Entertainment & Sports.

After reading the newspaper, I turn on the boob tube to watch my favorite chikahan show titled JUICY. I love the way they make me laugh as they deliver their blind items (kota kinabalu in gay lingo). Kuntodo re-enactment pa kase kahit obvious na kung sino ung mga taartits (movie actors/actresses)! Kakalurki! As soon as the show ended, I turn off the boob tube. 

Hmmm...Medyo nabo-borlog na ako (getting bored in gay lingo). So, I thought of something interesting to do. I raided my old and dusty pile of books. I chose the thickest book and started to read. I lie down and hold the book into my face and got lost in the story. It took me two hours to finish the book. It is nice to relive some old habits such as reading a book. Back in the old days, I remember reading an average of two books a day even in dim light.

It's no wonder that I have 150/150  eye vision grade now... ^___^

The new campaign logo sparks debate and criticism for its similarity to Poland's campaign logo. It has been reported that the new logo has been totally withdrawn. As always, people will always say they have a much brighter idea. It would be better if we will believe and support Department of Tourism to help local tourism. *keeping fingers crossed*

I have been religiously placing a bet on Grand Lotto just to try my luck. Early morning, I read in the newspaper that jackpot price reaches more than Php620 million pesos. Whoa! Hopefully, it will reach a BILLION peso mark. Kakalula na un, davah? And in order to ride on a positive feeling, I keep on singing the song titled "I wanna be a billionaire" sung by Travis Mccoy.

Genius daw ako! Weh? Di nga?

Jack and I visited our brother Jayson last night in Calamba Doctors' Hospital. Jayson was admitted because of severe headache in the crown of his head, stomache and loose bowel movement. Before heading to the hospital, we bought lots of fresh fruits and chichiria to munch on. It's no wonder we're too heavy na! magkakapatid na dambu! hahaha :o)

Jayson's condition is quite stable now. Maybe, it will take a few more days just to ensure Jayson's stability. I know his condition will soon be okay. Well, all things are possible through prayer. :o)

On our way home, Jack and I rode a jeepney from Parian to Canlubang. I recognize one of the passengers in line with our seat, Grace, who happens to be my friend and classmate way back high school days. We had the chance to talk to each other about a lot of things especially about work.

So here are snippets of conversations we had...

Grace: "kamusta na? db nag-iintay ka na lang ng working visa?"

Jha: "naku, mahabang kwento...medyo di maganda naging resulta eh...ng-back out na ako dun...naghahanap na ulit ako sa ngayon"

Grace: "ako nga may inaayos na lang...may job offer sa akin sa Dubai...80K ang sahod..."

Jha: "wow! tlaga? buti ka pa...ako kelangan magtiyaga ulit sa pag-aapply"

Grace: "ayaw mo pa kc kumuha ng board exam eh."

Jha: "naku po, 10 years na ang lumipas di ko na ata maalala mga inaral ko (PT grad kc ako!)"

Grace: "okay lang un...genius ka naman eh."

Jha: "nyek! ako? genius? kahit genius ata kinakalawang na din ang utak kapag matagal na di ginamit para sa natapos na kurso lalo't sampung taon na..."

At times, I  am told I am genius. Still, I am in doubt and would ask myself, "Am I a genius?" :o) Although I did not get graduation medals , I made sure I am included in Top 10 students in my class at Canossa Academy. Chemistry is often  said to be one of the most difficult sciences. Luckily, I enjoyed balancing chemical equations and was often called to be a Chemistry tutor. I can still recall Mrs. Garcia's funny famous line, "tutors, sit beside your tutees..." :o)

I won the gold medal in Scrabble in my freshman year beating sophomore, junior and senior opponents. I received gold and silver medals in various Chess competitions, a game which requires a lot of strategic and brainy moves.

In college, I got a government funded scholarship which covered a five-year course. I was told not to get a grade of 3 because if I did, my scholarship will be taken away from me. Fortunately, I did well and even got a grade of 1 in Algebra. Oh well, just when I thought that Mathematics is my waterloo... hehehe! 

Siguro sobra naman ang sabihing "genius" ako...tama lang na "may konting talino"! Yun na! :o)

November 17th is National Unfriend Day, and you're in. Yet, choosing who to keep and who to lose isn't always so clear. Fortunately, NewsFeed has come up with some guidelines to help you make your selections. Happy unfriending!

1) They’re Your Parents

It’s bad enough that your mother comments on or likes every single status or photo you post (seriously—every. single. one), but when you start getting phone calls about that “inappropriate” photo or comment on your wall, you know it’s time to unfriend.

*I am glad my parents don't comment on my status updates...wehehe*

2) They’re Your Ex

True there is something to be said about staying friends with your ex (er, on Facebook that is). Especially if you’ve moved on and your life is going swimmingly. But if it’s their life that seems like the Facebook victory (new relationship, great job, whatever) and you still harbor the torch, it’s time to lose them. Petty and immature? Maybe. But really, who needs that?

*Last January, I sent a friend request to my ex but request has been ignored/not accepted. :o)*

3) You Don’t Know Them

Why did you add/accept them as a friend in the first place? No questions asked, lose ‘em.

* I am GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt!!! Waaaah! I accepted every friend requests and invitations! There are lots of them I don't even know. " 

4) You Would Never Say Hi to Them in Real Life

We all have them on our Facebook—people who are our “friends” but you’d never in a million years say hi to if you bumped into them on the street. Or alternatively, you have bumped into them in the street and they did not say hi to you. Either way, they are completely unnecessary to your life—even online.

* It happened to me a couple of times. It's better to interact with them online than in-person. "

5) They Invite You to a Million Events

You might be thinking, “what?” on this one, but hear me out. While initially it might seem sweet and thoughtful that you are being invited to loads of things from someone, you might want to re-evaluate. What sort of things are they inviting you to? Are they inviting everyone on their friend list? Is it because they actually want you there or are you just space filler? Are the events even in your area code? If they aren’t sincere invites, maybe they shouldn’t be your friend.

* Trulili! I can't attend gatherings abroad... hehehe! I find it very funny! :o)*

6) They Are in Loooovvvve

Not only that, they won’t shut up about it. NewsFeed loves love, but that doesn’t mean we want it shoved down our throats via status updates. If someone is constantly updating their status with sugary-sweet posts about their significant other it doesn’t seem loving. It seems phony and it’s definitely worthy of an unfriending.

* I used to be guilty of being mushy on Facebook. Love.Love.Love.. Over and Done with mushiness...paminsan minsan na lang pala!*

7) They Bring You Down

You know the types—always complaining, always negative. They seem to hate everything, except writing on Facebook about how much they hate everything, that is. Negative people drag your mood down, whether they are negative in real time or on Facebook. You don’t want to log in and be confronted with update after update of downers.

* I pity those people who are always complaining about something. Anyways, we can always hide specific friend's newsfeeds. =(*

8) They Send You Dozens of Quizzes and Game Invites

Just… no.

* I am quite addicted to some of Facebook games~ Pet society, Farmville, Petville, Baking life and Island paradise. If I don't like the game itself, I immediately block the game to avoid further invites. :o)*

9) You’ve Already Hidden Them From Your NewsFeed

 

If someone’s posts annoy you enough to warrant blocking them from your NewsFeed maybe you shouldn’t be friends with them anyway? Sure, unfriending seems a lot harsher than hiding them (which they never have to know about) but it’s just Facebook. They’ll get over it.

* I would rather hide their newsfeeds than delete them as friends. * 

10) You Don’t Want Them Privy to Your Social (Media) Life

 

Everyone is social, but not everyone needs to see you being social. Whether it’s a colleague, a boss, a teacher or a grandparent, if there’s someone out there that you don’t want seeing photos of you out with friends or inside jokes that are posted on your wall, delete them. And for future reference, don’t add these people in the first place.

I chanced upon a quiz on the net... "What age do you act?"...Guess what? I don't act my real age. Though I am shy to admit it, I am really young at heart. Plus, I don't look my age naman ah! hahaha! Toinks! :o) Seriously, the description suits me well. I am a positive thinking person. I always look forward on what's to come in all aspects of my life. Also, I am excited to see where my life is going to take me. As they say, life is full of surprises! So, bring it on! ♥

Today, I went to several agencies to look for any available jobs abroad that I am qualified for. It was simply tiring to travel from Laguna to Manila. Moreover, the heat of the sun became unbearable which greatly affects my skin. It's already past 6pm when I head back to Laguna.

I fetch Jen from Calamba Doctors' Hospital because we had to go to Peachy's house. There is a "chit chat day" schedule for today (wantusawang kainan at kwentuhan)... Peachy and Ailyn prepared a sumptuous meal for all of us to enjoy. Yum! Yum! We were so full we did not immediately get up from our seats. We told each other stories about work and love life. Then, we all ended up joking around. I really had a good laugh.

Peachy made a superb dessert~ a sweet potato (kamote) pudding! Super dooper yummy! I both begun and end up my meal with sweet potato pudding. Appetizer na, Dessert pa! A sweet tooth, much? hahaha :o)

Peachy: "Jha, may ginawa ako diyan na minatamis na kamote..."
Jha: "Di ako mahilig sa kamote..."
Peachy: "Basta tikman mo lang..."
Jha: "O sige... hmmmm...sarap pala!" (filled my plate and it's overflowing...)
Ailyn: "Akala ko ba ayaw mo at wala kang hilig" (with a smile on her face)
Jha: "Yun nga din akala ko eh.."
Jen: "Kakaiba talaga 'to si Jha..." (laughing out loud)

Our laughter filled the kitchen and there was nothing we could do to wipe smiles on our faces. ^____^

I can't thank God enough for allowing me to have a lot of wonderful friends. ♥
